marinated rib eye steak rub

I wanted to add a nice Rub to my husbands Favorite Steaks for Father's Day & this is the Blend of herbs & spices that I used. I allowed the steaks to marinate over night, then brought them to room temperature before cooking them. You can cook them on the grill outside or indoors in a griddle skillet or on a griddle iron. I prefer to use the grill skillet to avoid so many splatters & messy clean up from the griddle iron. The spice blend was just enough to season 6 steaks & the herb Butter finished the steaks off perfectly. Store any unused spice blend in a small spice bottle for later use.

Sear on one side about 3 minutes then do a quarter turn and sear for an additional 3 minutes. Flip steak over and place in preheated broiler and continue to cook for about 4-5 minutes depending on how you like your steak cooked. Remove from broiler.
