This is a Vanilla sauce of my Mothers. Goes well with the bread pudding recipe.

Ingredients
- - 1 cup water
- - 1 cup sugar
- - 1 tbs. cornstarch
- - 2 tbs, butter or margarine
- - 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- - 1 pinch of salt
How To Make vanilla sauce

Step 1Bring water to boil in small sauce pan.

Step 2Combine sugar and cornstarch, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

Step 3Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, salt. Stir until butter melts.
