Ingredients
- 2 1/4 pounds ripe tomatoes, with seeds removed
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- - salt and pepper
How To Make tomato sauce

Step 1Put olive oil and onions in a pan. Fry.

Step 2Put in the tomatoes

Step 3Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4Add this mixture to the blender to remove all chunks.

Step 5Simmer over low heat for 2 minutes.

Step 6Add salt and pepper and cook for another 20 minutes.

Step 7Add the basil and cook for another 2 minutes.
