Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, minced
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 8 ounces tomato paste (not sauce)
- 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make red garlic pizza sauce

Step 1Heat oil in a deep, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and green pepper; cook and stir for about 5 minutes.

Step 2Add the garlic and continue to cook, stirring, until the vegetables are tender. Add the water and stir in the tomato paste.

Step 3Add dried herbs and lower heat. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and continue simmering for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is desired thickness.
