Ingredients

1 lb
linguine
2 c
lightly packed fresh basil leaves
1 c
olive oil
1 c
grated parmesan cheese
2 clove
garlic
1/2 c
pine nuts or walnuts
1/2 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice

How to Make Pesto Linguine

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large pot, cook linguine according to package directions; drain and return to pot.
  • 2Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, make pesto sauce by combining remaining ingredients; blend until smooth.
  • 3Add pesto sauce to linguine, toss until well combined, and serve.
  • 4Garnishing Tip:

    Serve this topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a few toasted pine nuts. Add some delicious Caesar Salad and I have added i cup of chicken cooked and dice and added that was also great, and your meal is complete!
