Ingredients
- 12 - bell peppers (6 green, 6 red), seeded, chopped fine
- 6 - onions, chopped fine
- 1 small white cabbage, chopped fine
- 1 quart vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
How To Make pepper hash

Step 1In a cheesecloth combine the peppers, onion and cabbage. Scald in boiling water. Squeeze dry and remove from cheesecloth.

Step 2Heat vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard seeds. Add vegetables and bring to boiling point.

Step 3When cool, put into sterilized canning jars and seal.
