carrots, peeled and diced
beet, peeled and diced
celery ribs, diced
How to Make NoMater Sauce
1In a covered pot, place all ingredients. Brint to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cook until all vetables are fork tender.
2Remove bay leaf. Let cool. Blend until smooth. Use it in place of tomato sauce.
3*If you need Paste: after blending, return to simmer and reduce.
**If you need Juice: add water or broth to meet your liking.
***This freezes well! And makes aproximately 3 1/2 cups.
