my spaghetti and lasagna meat sauce recipe
Layer this with lasagna pasta, mozzarella cheese and Bechamel sauce for an awesome lasagna. NO: do not use Cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese with this recipe.

Ingredients
- - 1 pound of extra lean ground beef (such as 97/3 or 96/4)
- - 1 one pound can of diced tomatoes
- - 1 ½ cloves of garlic - crushed...can use frozen chopped garlic or dehydrated garlic
- - 1 -15 ounce can of tomato sauce (can may vary by ½ ounce or there abouts, that’s ok)
- - 2 tablespoons of parsley flakes ...i use dehydrated (fresh is ok)
- - 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar (this is to cut the bitterness of the spices)
- - 2 teaspoon of crushed basil (i used dehydrated basil)
- - 3/4 cup of chopped onion...i used frozen, already chopped onion(or the equivalent in dehydrated onions)
- - 2 teaspoon of crushed oregano...i used dehydrated
- - 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds

Step 1In large skillet, cook ground beef, onions, and garlic until ground beef is thoroughly cooked and onions and garlic are tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Served over spaghetti or layered between lasagna pasta.
