Ingredients
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sauterne or other sweet white wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
How To Make mushroom-onion sauce

Step 1Saute mushrooms in melted butter in a large skillet until tender.

Step 2Add the broth, onions, and salt; stir well. Bring to a boil.

Step 3Combine the wine and cornstarch; stir well. Gradually add the wine mixture to the mushroom mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly.

Step 4Serve warm over grilled steaks or hamburgers.
