A great sauce for lamb.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar (75g)
  • 1/2 cup water (125ml)
  • 1 cup cider vinegar (250ml)
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh mint

How To Make mint sauce

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar and water in small pan. Stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved. Boil, uncovered, about 4 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Step 2
    Boil, uncovered, about 4 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Step 3
    Remove pan from heat, stir in vinegar and mint; stand 15 minutes. Stir well before serving.
  • Step 4
    Recipe can be made a week ahead. Storage: Covered, in refrigerator. Not suitable for freezing. Not suitable for microwave.
