I found this in an old cook book, and I haven't tried it yet. Donalee loved marshmallows and I'm always looking for recipes she would have enjoyed.

Ingredients
- 1/4 pound marshmallows
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make marshmallow filling

Step 1Boil sugar and water until it spins a thread. Cut up marshmallows and pour boiling water over them to steam. When sugar is done, pour gradually over the egg whites which have been beaten stiff, then add marshmallows; beat until creamy and spread on cake layers.
