  • 2 Tbsp
    stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter buds granules
  • 1 Tbsp
    reduced sodium chicken bouilon granules
  • 1 1/2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    fat free milk
  • ·
    pepper to taste
  • ·
    chopped parsley to garnish

How to Make Low-fat white sauce


  1. In a saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in flour, butter buds, and bouilion till blended.
  2. Gradually add water and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min., or until thickened.
    Season with pepper.
  3. Yield: 2 cups
