How To Make lisa's homemade spaghetti sauce
-
Step 1In a good sized pot add a small amount of olive oil and add onions, cook for about 3 minutes, add your beef and sausage and cook till no longer pink, add in mushrooms and oregano, and season with some salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes and then add in your tomatoes and the rest of your spices and some more salt and pepper. Now the secret is to simmer the sauce on low for a good 2 hrs so all the flavors come together.
