A refreshing yogurt sauce to serve with fish and vegetables. If you have preserved lemon on hand - substitute it for the fresh lemon.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plan yogurt (full fat)
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced (can substitute preserved lemon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
  • salt to taste, if preferred

How To Make lemon garlic yogurt sauce

  • Step 1
    Zest the lemon to measure 2 tsp. and juice entire lemon.
  • Step 2
    Combine yogurt, zest and lemon juice together and refrigerate.
  • Step 3
    Serve with vegetables or fish.
