Every year in August Peterson Industries and the city of Decatur, AR had a BBQ. They fix tons of chicken dinners and have it at the park with live entertainment, beauty pagents, games and lots of visiting. Ivan wrote the BBQ sauce recipe and took his turn at the huge grill where they fixed the chicken for hours to get all the dinners fixed.

    wesson oil
  • 6 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    red pepper
  • 12 Tbsp
  • 9 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 12 Tbsp
    celery salt
  • 6 oz
    worchestershire sauce
  • 12 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 oz
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 6 Tbsp

How to Make Ivan's Annual Bar-B-Que sauce


  1. Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. As you can tell this is for several hundred , we have big get togethers at Decatur.
