Homemade Sour Cream
How to Make Homemade Sour Cream
- Combine whipping cream and buttermilk in a sterilized mason jar. Stir well. Cover loosely. Let stand at room temperature until cream becomes thick, approximately 24-48 hours. Stir well.
Store in refrigerator.
- If you don't have buttermilk on hand you can make your own by adding a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to regular milk.
