Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons dark dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

How To Make gorchichno-ukropniy sous

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix the mustard, sugar, salt and vinegar to a paste.
  • Step 2
    With a whisk slowly beat in the oil until it forms a thick mayonnaise-like emulsion.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the chopped dill.
  • Step 4
    NOTE: This sauce may be kept refrigerated in a tightly covered jar for several days, but needs to be shaken or beaten with a whisk to remix the ingredients before serving.
