It turns out the mustard cream sauce is just three ingredients: sour cream, heavy cream and mustard. A 2:2:1 ratio of the ingredients fit the bill for us but you may wish to vary to your taste.

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 dash white pepper (opt.)

    Whisk together all ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Heat briefly in microwave, whisking at intervals, until warm but not boiling.
  • Step 3
    Serve over chicken, rabbit, vegetables, etc.
