It's summer time, and I believe this is a great recipe to start my new beginning...

tomato sauce - 8 ounce cans

brown sugar - firmly packed
1 Tbsp
white sugar
1/2 c
pineapple - chopped and diced small
1/2 c
pineapple juice
2 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice
1/4 c
lemon zest
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
1 tsp
red pepper flakes - crushed - or to taste
1 tsp
celery seeds - ground
1 tsp
cumin - ground
4 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
3 tsp
mustard - grainy
1 Tbsp
horse radish
6 large
garlic cloves - minced
2 tsp
fresh oregano - diced and chopped
1 1/2 tsp
red chili powder
1/2 tsp
black pepper - fresh ground - or to taste
1/2 tsp
course sea salt - or to taste

How to Make Fireman Bob's Pineapple Barbecue Sauce, my way...


  • 1Directions

    In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
    Slowly bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then simmer for 20 minutes, watching and stirring every 2 minutes till done.
