It's summer time, and I believe this is a great recipe to start my new beginning... Hope You enjoy......

yield Makes 2-3 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 cans tomato sauce - 8 ounce cans
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar - firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1/2 cup pineapple - chopped and diced small
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes - crushed - or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds - ground
  • 1 teaspoon cumin - ground
  • 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 teaspoons mustard - grainy
  • 1 tablespoon horse radish
  • 6 large garlic cloves - minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh oregano - diced and chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper - fresh ground - or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon course sea salt - or to taste

How To Make fireman bob's pineapple barbecue sauce, my way...

  • Step 1
    Directions In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Slowly bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then simmer for 20 minutes, watching and stirring every 2 minutes till done. ENJOY !!!
