creamed soup substitute
I found this recipe online. I use it to substitute cream of mushroom, cream of chicken or cream of celery in recipes. Oftentimes, if the recipe calls for 2 cans I will use this to sub one of the cans therefore reducing at least some of the fat in the recipe.

- 1 cup nonfat milk powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup beef boullion granules
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
How To Make creamed soup substitute

Step 1Combine all ingredients into a airtight jar.

Step 2In small saucepan, simmer 1 cup water & 1/3 cup mix stirring with a whisk until thickened. Use this to replace one can of cream of mushroom, cream of chicken or cream of celery in any recipe.
