~ brat's spaghetti sauce and meatball's ~
My recipe for Brat's, Spaghetti sauce and Meatballs is enjoyed by family and friends alike. For a nice thick sauce, full of flavor and well received by many. I sure hope you'll give my sauce a try. ????

Ingredients
- SAUCE
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 large onion ( chopped)
- 2 cans (12 ounce) tomato paste
- 2 cans ( 8 ounce) tomato sauce
- 1 can ( 14 1/2 ounce) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups water
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- MEATBALLS
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic ( finely minced)
- 1 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make ~ brat's spaghetti sauce and meatball's ~

Step 1In large pot saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onion is softened.

Step 2Add tomato paste and stir into olive oil until completely mixed.

Step 3Stir in tomato sauce and tomatoes.

Step 4Slowly mix in the 4 cups of water.

Step 5Add bay leaves, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, sugar and stir well.

Step 6Bring to a boil then turn down and simmer for one hour.

Step 7For your meatballs combine the beef, finely minced garlic, Italian bread crumbs, basil, oregano, parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and pepper and mix together well.

Step 8Shape into 1 inch size meatballs and place on a cookie sheet.

Step 9Bake meatballs in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Step 10Add meatballs to the sauce after 1 hour of cooking sauce. Continue to cook the sauce and meatballs, 1 more hour or longer if you like.

Step 11Uncover the sauce during the last half hour to thicken up the sauce.

Step 12Cook pasta according to package directions.

Step 13Serve sauce and meatballs over spaghetti.
