blackberry balsamic reduction sauce
I had some blackberry puree that I wanted to use for something other than dessert so I started surfing for a blackberry reduction sauce to go over pork. This is a sampling of three different recipes and the end result was terrific.

Drizzle this blackberry balsamic reduction sauce over your grilled meat to take it to another level. A breeze to prepare, we thought it was delightful over grilled pork. It's sweet and tart with notes of blackberry flavor throughout.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup blackberry juice/puree (seedless)
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch salt
How To Make blackberry balsamic reduction sauce

Step 1In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and honey. Bring to a boil. Boil 1-2 minutes.

Step 2Add blackberry juice, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Bring to a hard boil and boil briskly for 5 minutes.

Step 3Continue boiling more softly until the sauce will coat the back of teaspoon nicely.

Step 4Let cool slightly and serve over roasted pork, beef, fish, or chicken.
