Ingredients

  • 20 large tomatoes
  • 4 large onions
  • 4 - carrots
  • 3 - green peppers, chopped
  • 5 - hot peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons basil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon real lemon juice, (per pint of finished product.)

How To Make amish taco sauce

  • Step 1
    Skin and chop tomatoes. bring all ingredients except lemon juice to a boil. Simmer until mixure is desired consistancy. Pour into hot sterilized jars adding 1 tablespoon lemon to each pint jar. stir gently. Cold pack for 2 1/2 hours.
