Ingredients For amish taco sauce

  • 20 lg
    tomatoes
  • 4 lg
    onions
  • 4
    carrots
  • 3
    green peppers, chopped
  • 5
    hot peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    parsley
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    basil
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    real lemon juice, (per pint of finished product.)

How To Make amish taco sauce

  • 1
    Skin and chop tomatoes. bring all ingredients except lemon juice to a boil. Simmer until mixure is desired consistancy. Pour into hot sterilized jars adding 1 tablespoon lemon to each pint jar. stir gently. Cold pack for 2 1/2 hours.
