This is an amazingly easy recipe with simple ingredients, yet has a great taste for spooning over prime rib or grilled steaks. We've even used it as a sauce on grilled hamburgers before; it lends a more piquant taste than just mayonnaise. Try it and I think you will agree that it is a great addition to our meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy or whipping cream, cold
  • 1/3 cup duke's mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated horseradish (fresh if possible)
  • 1 dash sea salt
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper

How To Make a simple and tasty horseradish sauce (sallye)

  • Step 1
    Place cream and mayo in medium sized mixing bowl and beat with electric mixer until well blended and creamy
  • Step 2
    Fold in horseradish, salt, black pepper and cayenne. Mix with wooden spoon until well blended
  • Step 3
    Place in fridge in airtight container for at least an hour before serving in order for flavors to fuze.
  • Step 4
    Will last 3-5 days in fridge in airtight container.
