2 1/2 cups rub

  • 2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    each: paprika, chili powder, seasoned salt, and liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp
    each: garlic powder and lemon pepper

How to Make Sweet and smoky rub for grilling


  1. combine all above and mix well. Spread out on a cookie sheet to dry 2-3 hours.
  2. To use rub on meat and refridgerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Grill as usual.
  3. Keep rub in a covered container with tight lid
