lime-cilantro marinade

A nice Asian taste marinade for chicken, but good on beef, pork or seafood.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime peel
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

How To Make lime-cilantro marinade

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Step 2
    Use to marinade chicken, steak or shrimp. (if using on fish or shrimp, marinade no longer than 30 minutes, or seafood will start to "cook" and be tough.
