This is good for tenderizing and flavoring cheaper cuts of meat, such as chuck steak or chuck roast.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make chuckwagon marinade

  • Step 1
    Saute garlic and onion in butter.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cool and marinate the meat 4-6 hours in refrigerator.
  • Step 3
    Remove meat and cook as desired, basting with leftover marinade occasionally.
