Combine all ingredients into a large measuring cup. Mix well.
Place meat/poultry into a glass dish OR a ziplock plastic bag. Pour marinade over meat, coating entirely....You can save some back for basting if needed.
Marinate for several hours to over night. Grill as usual.
If you use garlic powder rather than salt it lowers the sodium content.
