I make this for chicken tenders I put on the grill. I works for other meats as well;but we like it on chicken the best.

Ingredients

1/4 c
olive oil
1 Tbsp
paprika
1 tsp
garlic salt (or powder)
1 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 c
real lemon juice
1 Tbsp
honey
1 tsp
oregano leaves
1/2 tsp
hot sauce (to taste)

How to Make Carribean Marinade

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine all ingredients into a large measuring cup. Mix well.
  • 2Place meat/poultry into a glass dish OR a ziplock plastic bag. Pour marinade over meat, coating entirely....You can save some back for basting if needed.
  • 3Marinate for several hours to over night. Grill as usual.
  • 4If you use garlic powder rather than salt it lowers the sodium content.
