I make this for chicken tenders I put on the grill. I works for other meats as well;but we like it on chicken the best.

Yield 1 1/2 C
5 Min

  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt (or powder)
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 c
    real lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce (to taste)

How to Make Carribean Marinade

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large measuring cup. Mix well.
  2. Place meat/poultry into a glass dish OR a ziplock plastic bag. Pour marinade over meat, coating entirely....You can save some back for basting if needed.
  3. Marinate for several hours to over night. Grill as usual.
  4. If you use garlic powder rather than salt it lowers the sodium content.
