Ingredients

  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package powered fruit pectin
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 6 pints canning jars

How To Make rosy cider jelly

  • Step 1
    In a large kettle, combine the first 4 ingredients. (apple cider, cranberry juice, lemon juice and powdered fruit pectin)
  • Step 2
    Bring to rolling boil over heat, stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
    Stir in sugar, return to a full rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat, skim off foam.
  • Step 5
    Pour hot liquid into hot jars. Put lids and bands, and tightened.
  • Step 6
    Process for 5 minutes in hot boiling bath.
