Ingredients
- 1 kilogram fruit of your choice
- 1 kilogram sugar
How To Make jam

Step 1Cut the fruit in small pieces and place it in a pot.

Step 2Cook on the stove, on low fire. Stir very often so that the fruit doesn’t burn.

Step 3As soon as some juice collects on the bottom of the pot, add sugar and stir until it is no longer visible.

Step 4Keep the pot on low fire, stirring often and in particular the bottom, which will otherwise burn very easily.

Step 5Jam must boil for at least 2 hours and 30 minutes. This is necessary to inactivate botulinum spores that may be present in the fruit, which could otherwise produce deadly toxins.

Step 6Pour boiling-hot jam in glass jars and close them immediately. The jars will go vacuum in a few minutes: you can then store your jam for many months.
