cranberry salad
Never was a fan of cranberries until a couple of years ago. But now I seem to like them especially around the holidays. I made this one Thanksgiving for my mother who is a fan of cranberries. My sister and I take turns each year alternating Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now whichever holiday I get to cook that year my mom reminds me to make this for our holiday meal.

Ingredients
- 2 small boxes of cranberry jello (3.4 oz.) - i have used strawberry
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.) do not drain
- 1 can whole berry cranberries (14 oz.)
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 - chopped apple leave skin on
How To Make cranberry salad

Step 1Mix the jello with hot water until dissolved.

Step 2Add all other ingredients together, mix well and allow to set. Approx. 6 hours.

Step 3You can pour into a decorative mold pan or bundt pan for presentation. Garnish with greens, fresh cranberries or sprigs of mint.
