apple rhubarb jam
Something a little different than the regular rhubarb mix ins! This jam is delicious on lots of things...dont stop at sandwiches. One of my favorite places to use it is on Pork Chops right off the grill. MMMMM.

Makes 6 cups
Ingredients
- 3 cups diced rhubarb
- 3 cups diced, peeled apples
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
- 2 ounces dry pectin
How To Make apple rhubarb jam

Step 1In a large saucepan mix together all ingredients but the pectin. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until the fruit is soft.

Step 2Stir in the pectin and boil for 5 minutes.

Step 3Ladle into clean jars, wipe rims and seal with new lids. Process in BWB for 10 minutes.

Step 4Store jam in a cool dark place and refrigerate once opened.
