2 mdyellow onions, thinly sliced

1/4 cbalsamic vinegar

1 clow sodium beef broth

1 clow sodium chicken broth

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make onion-bourbon sauce for steak

1Melt 2 tablespoons butter in heavy large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onions and saute until golden and tender, about 12 minutes.

2Add vinegar and boil until reduced by half, about 1 minute.

3Add bourbon and broths and boil until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.

4Remove from heat and add remaining butter and whisk just until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
