chocolate gravy, nanny's
The first time I had chocolate gravy was when I was on a sleepover at a friend's house when I was a child. As a chocolate lover, I fell in love with it. Fast forward many, many years and I'm making this for my kids and their kids and they love it just as much as I do! This is an old southern recipe as taught to me by a lovely woman named Jewel Baker who lived down the road from me when I was a teen. I did add butter later, though. I always remember her fondly when I make this!
