Ingredients

  • 1 - (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes or may use equivalent of fresh tomatoes
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 -10 dash your fav hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make red tomato chutney

  • Step 1
    In a heavy saucepan, stir together the tomatoes, brown and white sugars, green pepper, onion, ketchup, hot pepper sauce, and pepper. Cook at a simmer for about 2 hours, stirring frequently until thickened. Cool before serving. Keep refrigerated.
