The best cranberry sauce you will ever try. Not only is it easy to make, it is simply delicious. Many thanks to Mama Freed and the Home Economics teacher that gave her this recipe back in 1951!

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 16 ounces fresh cranberries
- 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
- - juice from 2 lemons
How To Make mama freed's cranberry sauce

Step 1In a medium sized saucepan boil the sugar and water for five minutes

Step 2Stir occasionally

Step 3Add cranberries and boil for five minutes more until skins burst

Step 4Stir in marmalade and fresh squeezed lemon juice

Step 5Place in sealed container and refrigerate till serving time
