Ingredients
- 6 - apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon clove
- 1/2 cup raisins (or dried cranberries)
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup whole milk
How To Make escalloped apples

Step 1Place apples in a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Step 2Stir spice mix into apples until evenly distributed. Fold in walnuts and raisins.

Step 3Spoon mixture into a greased 2-qt. casserole. Mix vanilla and milk; pour evenly over apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes, or until soft and bubbly. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
