This syrup would be great with the Cranberry Waffles I submitted earlier. Low fat for both these recipes too ! I have a Cranberry waffle recipe posted as well.

Makes 2 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup cranberries
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 1 - cinnamon stick
How To Make cranberry syrup

Step 1Boil cranberries in water until soft. Drain in fine sieve, then mash cranberry pulp through sieve and return to cooking pot. Add maple syrup and cinnamon stick to cranberry pulp. Warm over medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot over waffles or pancakes.
