  • 1 lb
    cranberries,picked over and washed
  • 2 c
    sugar or splenda sugar
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 tsp
    grated orange rind
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1/2 c
    blanched almonds, slivered

How to Make Cranberry Sauce


  1. Combine all ingredients, except almonds, in a saucepan and cook until cranberries pop open, approximately 10 minutes.
  2. Skim foam from surface, add almonds and cool.
