This recipe orginally came from the Oregon Fruit Products Company and was featured on the Food Channel. It's tremendous over ice cream. If you don't have fresh cherries, you can use frozen cherries.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds sweet cherries..pitted
- 1 cup brandy
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon alomond extract
- 1 cup sweet orange marmalad
How To Make connie's brandied cherry sauce

Step 1In a saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.

Step 2Over medium heat, cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

Step 3Stir in almond extract and marmalade.

Step 4If not using immediately, cover and refrigerate.
