blueberry sauce for ice cream...(can use other fruits)
This is a great sauce to serve over Ice Cream, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, muffins or even garnish a pound cake (or angel food cake).

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups blueberries
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, divided (or splenda)
- - juice from 1/2 a lemon
How To Make blueberry sauce for ice cream...(can use other fruits)

Step 1Place blueberries in a small saucepan with 1 Tablespoon of sugar and cook over low heat. Stir the sugar and mash some of the blueberries with the back of a fork.

Step 2Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Next stir in the juice from half of a lemon and add the additional 1/2 Tablespoon of sugar.

Step 3Remove from heat and let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving over vanilla ice cream.

Step 4P.S. You can make this with any berries you like, does not have to be blueberries.
