You’ll find this is a little bit tart, a little bit sweet and some heat…is there too! And trust me this is one of the simplest and yet yummy glaze ever! And when I am doing a ham…I add some yellow mustard …

Ingredients

  • - 1 -10 ounce jar apricot marmalade
  • - 2 & ½ tablespoons cayenne pepper “or to taste”
  • - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • - 3 teaspoons light brown sugar

How To Make apricot glaze for bbq-ed chicken

  • Step 1
    Add everything to a pot & cook on low for just about 5 minutes “ stirring constantly “ to make sure everything is incorporated & the sugar is all dissolved …cool.
  • Step 2
    Spread on chicken, and marinade for at least 1 hour…then grille a usual…
  • Step 3
    Chicken with the glaze on it...This is also good on pork and shrimp!
