This comes in handy for a appetizer or a side dish for any meal. If you use for a appetizer you can cook for only a few min or serve raw(has more crunch!) I like the small skinny stalks for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 lb
    fresh asparagus(thin stalks best)
  • 3 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp
    stone ground mustard(with horseradish)

How to Make Special Asparagus with dipping Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Asparagus cut the end of stems off, then place in pan with soft boiling water and steam for 2-5 min depending on your doneness liking. I recommend to not cook too long. You need them to remain stiff so you can dip them in the sauce.
  2. Sauce
    3 TB of mayo
    3TB of mustard
    Stir together and keep chilled.
  3. Serve Asparagus with sauce as a side dish, appetizer or as a healthy snack.
    Enjoy!!:)
