This comes in handy for a appetizer or a side dish for any meal. If you use for a appetizer you can cook for only a few min or serve raw(has more crunch!) I like the small skinny stalks for this recipe.

prep time 5 Min
cook time 5 Min
method ---
yield 2-6 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 pound fresh asparagus(thin stalks best)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons stone ground mustard(with horseradish)

How To Make special asparagus with dipping sauce

  • Step 1
Asparagus cut the end of stems off, then place in pan with soft boiling water and steam for 2-5 min depending on your doneness liking. I recommend to not cook too long. You need them to remain stiff so you can dip them in the sauce.
  • Step 2
Sauce 3 TB of mayo 3TB of mustard Stir together and keep chilled.
  • Step 3
Serve Asparagus with sauce as a side dish, appetizer or as a healthy snack. Enjoy!!:)
