I didn't like bleu cheese salad dressing, but I liked the thickness, so...in 1960 I whipped up my "un-bleu cheese salad dressing. Since "Ranch Dressing" is now the rage, I call mine "Old Time Ranch Dressing".

mayonnaise
2 tsp
red wine vinegar
1/8 tsp
dry mustard
1/8 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
peppercorns, ground
1/8 tsp
celery seed
2 tsp
onion flakes, dehydrated (i use 1-2 teaspoon(s) grated brown onion)
1-2 Tbsp
milk to thin a little
