my favorite ranch dressing
I'm posting this for my daughter. The seasonings are a starting point. Taste as you go, and add more if you like. Important: make sure your buttermilk tastes good!

Ingredients
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup good quality mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped dried chives
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon ground dried rosemary
- 1/8 teaspoon each salt and pepper

Step 1Stir together buttermilk, mayonnaise, garlic powder and onion powder until well blended. Fold in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Step 2This can be made with low fat and/or fat free products if desired. I prefer the real things because they have fewer chemicals in them.
