I wanted to spice up my Buttermilk Ranch salad dressing tonight and only had a few spicy ingredients on hand. We loved the result so much that we just started dipping everything we could find in it even before we got it on our vegetable salad! This would also be delish on a meat, chicken, or shrimp salad. The dipping possibilities are endless! So simple; just 3 ingredients that you probably have in your pantry right now.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups regular or buttermilk ranch salad dressing, homemade or store bought. if using bottled dressing, you will need 12 ounces.
  • 1/4 cup or more (according to taste) salsa or picante sauce. you pick the heat. i used medium, chunky salsa
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix. may use more according to taste but use judiciously; taco seasoning quickly over powers other flavors
