This crab salad is dedicated to my sister Cathy. She loves crab and this is right up her alley. There is only 11 months between us. When we were growing up, boy did we fight. LOL! Now that we are older and wiser, we know that the most important things in life are are faith, family, love, respect, loyalty, honor, friends and good plate of food with the Logan's! LOL... We have a very close family and we love each other very much. I know that she will enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it with her in mind. This salad is pretty just like Cathy. I love you sis! Ingredients For crab ala-cathy salad

  • 1 lb
    crab meat
  • 2 md
    romaine lettuce head, chopped
  • 2-3 lg
    roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 md
    celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 2 md
    green onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 Tbsp
    kalamata (greek) olives
  • 4 md
    radishes, thinly sliced
  • 2 oz
    parmesan cheese, shaved **some don't believe cheese goes with seafood, but i love it** (optional)
  • ITALIAN DRESSING
  • 1 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/3 c
    white wine vinegar
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tsp
    swampfire seafood seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    black pepper, course ground
  • 1 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • sea salt to taste
  • dash of water (optional)

How To Make crab ala-cathy salad

  • 1
    in a small mixing bowl, combine all dressing ingredients. prepare all the other ingredients for your salad.
