cider honey mustard vinaigrette

This is a dressing I use on a lot of my salads. It is especially delicious on salads that have fruit and nuts in them. It is tangy and not overly sweet. It adds just the right touch to any salad. My family loves the dressing. I hope you all enjoy my creation as well!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light or regular extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 - 1/2 inch slice of sweet onion
  • 1 - small clove or 1/2 clove of garlic

How To Make cider honey mustard vinaigrette

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a blender or food proccesor, in order. Pulse until smooth. Pour in to bowl or bottle. Serve over salad. You may refrigerate for a hours before using. Dressing will get even more flavorful. This will give the dressing a more in depth flavor.
  • Step 2
    Note: make sure you use a piece of garlic not a whole clove.
