Everyone likes bitter-sweet Chinese sauce, served with chicken or pork. As for me, I also like to use this sauce for fish and meat cutlets and vegetable dishes. Easy and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 - ginger root
  • 3 tablespoons vegitable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, dark
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 - onion
  • 125 milliliters fruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 2 tablespoons water

How To Make bitter-sweet chinese sauce

  • Step 1
Consistently fry in vegetable oil, finely chopped onion, garlic and ginger root (slice of 5-7 cm).
  • Step 2
Add the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, ketchup and fruit juice. I use orange or apple juice (or another bitter juice).
  • Step 3
Stir well and let simmer. Starch mix in water and pour in a thin stream into the sauce.
  • Step 4
Stir well, wait until the sauce thickens and off. Bon appetit!
