Made this for big daddy's birthday dinner the other night.It was so delicious. We pigged out on the salad because we loved the dressing so much. Hope you do to.

Ingredients For balsamic vinaigrette

  • 1/4 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ground pepper
  • 3/4 c
    olive oil

How To Make balsamic vinaigrette

  • 1
    Beat the vinegar in a bowl with the sugar, garlic, salt and pepper until sugar and salt dissolves. Then beat in the oil by droplets, whisking constantly. Taste and adjust the seasonings. (Note: I put everything in my food processor and blended it that way. Does a great job of mixing it. Came out so creamy) Toss a few tablespoons of the dressing with the salad mix and desired salad ingredients, top with cheese if you so desire and serve immediately.
